This news broke my heart. Mr. Gabrielle was one of the kindest people my family has known. He always went out of his way to say hello when we'd pass him in the grocery store. We went to Kleckner's just so he could assist us with our appliance purchases. He always gave us wonderful service and advice. So sad to hear this news this morning. We're thinking of his family this week as they mourn his passing.

Bob was our chaperone when we went to Williamsburg on a 6th grade class trip. We cherished those shared memories forever. We had such an awesome time, and Bob loved being "one of the kids" for awhile. Afterwards, in the summer, I used to ride my bike to Deanos around lunchtime, hoping that he would be taking his lunch break there, where we would sit and talk about anything. As a teen, I admired him because he treated me as a friend, not a kid. I appreciated our friendship so much and it continued forever. Like Jenae, I bought my appliances from Bob because, to me, he was "the man" when it came to appliances. When we would cross paths in town, which was somewhat frequently, he was always happy and friendly, and, inevitably, we would remark about how much fun we had on the Williamsburg trip. His passing is very sad. But, I am thankful that my lifetime has been blessed by Bob's friendship, which taught me so much about how we need to stay young and treat everyone, young and old, with respect. Thank you Bob. And to Wendy and Joshua--I am sure that you are very proud of your father, and how he so positively affected the lives of many of us in the Emmaus Community.

My husband worked with Bobby for several years. He was a joy to be around and loved to tease people. And how he adored his children and grandchildren! We will miss him very much.
