Where do you live? Emmaus

Tell us about your family: 

"I have three children, one grandson, and host a Korean teenager who has become our own."

What do you do for a living?  

Work full time at Mack Trucks, part time for the Borough of Emmaus

What training/education do you have?  

  • Emmaus High School graduate
  • Former U.S. Marine Military Police
  • Lehigh County Prison Officer and Supervisor

Tell us about your involvement with the Borough of Emmaus.   

"My wife, Shelly Steiner, is involved in some commissions (Emmaus Special Entertainment Commission, Parks and Recreation) which involves me by default. I also coached girls softball in the past."

What do you enjoy most about your position?  

"Being in the public. I run into many old friends who I may have not seen for years, and always make new friends."

Do you ever have any major challenges to deal with while on duty? 

"Sometimes when dealing with the public, the answer they want to hear is not the answer they get."

What other organizations are you involved with?  

"NACEL, which is the group for our host student."

What do you love most about living and working in Emmaus? 

"It is home, always has been."

Tell us what you enjoy doing in your spare time.  

"I have custody of my 4-year-old grandson ... there goes my spare time."
