Lower Mac Commissioners' Jaindl Vote Could Impact East Penn

Controversial Jaindl subdivision is on tonight's meeting agenda. If approved, the project could mean 700-900 new homes in East Penn School District.

The Superintendent of Schools dedicated a good portion of his report at the April 23 school board meeting to and the administration’s efforts to keep tabs on both.

Thomas L. Seidenberger told the board that such efforts range from literally riding through the municipalities in East Penn to monitor “for sale” signs and construction work, to setting up regular meetings with East Penn borough and township managers to get a feel for things like permit requests.

The possibility of was also mentioned in Seidenberger’s report to the board.
