Lincoln PTO Cancels Fall Food Festival

Rainy weather forecast prompts Parent-Teacher Organization to pull the plug on Wednesday afternoon fundraiser.

Lincoln Elementary School and the Lincoln Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) informed Lincoln teachers, students and their families yesterday that Lincoln is cancelling the Fall Food Festival scheduled for the afternoon of Oct. 12 due to the rainy weather forecast.

The festival was to be outside on the Lincoln playground.

One of the main goals of the Lincoln PTO is to raise funds to help offset the cost of student field trips throughout the year.
