Lincoln Festival Offers one "hot" Night of Fun

Despite record-breaking temperatures, Lincoln Elementary School saw record-breaking attendance at its annual "Spring Festival."

Kailynne Servedio (11) and Stephen Servedio (8), both students at Lincoln Elementary show off their beautiful face paintings.

With a summery haze hanging over the Lincoln Elementary School playground, children and parents didn't seem to mind, as they slurped icy treats from Rita's Italian Ice and Li'l Nutzy's Sno-Cone stand.

Games, face-painting and "barrel-train" rides kept everyone's minds off the heat and humidity. It proved to be another successful year for the Lincoln PTO's annual fundraising event.

It was so nice to see a continued community turnout for such a worthwhile event. I know Jen Elston had many a sleepless night prior to this wonderful festival. Maybe now she will be able to relax, along with the other PTO Volunteers, knowing it was a job well done. This is what makes Lincoln Elementary so special.
