Latest Polls Show Obama's Pa. Lead Slipping
President Obama's once significant lead over Gov. Mitt Romney in the Keystone State has slipped, according to the latest polls
New polls out this week show Gov. Mitt Romney has substantially narrowed what once seemed like an insurmountable lead for President Barack Obama in Pennsylvania.
The polls were taken after the first presidential debate but before Tuesday's second town hall-style debate at Hofstra University.
Bloomberg News reported that a Quinnipiac University poll of 1,519 likely Pa. voters favored Obama by just four percentage points over Romney. The poll was conducted between Oct. 12 and Oct. 14. Just one month ago, Obama held a 12 point lead in the state, and some news reports indicated that the Romney campaign had begun to focus its resources elsewhere. Obama carried the state by more than 10 percentage points in the 2008 election.
Obama is still under 50 percent and Pennsylvania is still in play according to the latest poll from the Allentown Morning Call and Muhlenberg College.
The latest Public Policy Polling shows Obama above 50 percent and leading Mitt Romney by 7 points in Pennsylvania.
"President Obama continues to disappoint voters here by breaking the promises he made as a candidate, and failing to offer a legitimate case for four more years of the last four years," said Billy Pitman, director of communications for the Republican National Committee in Pennsylvania, in an email message to media outlets. "Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan offer a clear choice for leadership and a new direction that will create jobs, fix our economy and strengthen the middle class."
Male voters in the poll substantially favored Romney, while Obama held a commanding lead among women. Voters who described themselves as independent reportedly favored Obama, 50 percent to 43 percent.
The President's lead nationally has been slipping since his widely-criticized performance in the first presidential debate on Oct. 3. Tuesday evening's debate will take the form of a town meeting, in which citizens will ask questions of the candidates on foreign and domestic issues. Candidates each will have two minutes to respond, and an additional minute for the moderator to facilitate a discussion.

everyone on the fence should watch 2016 Obama's America. It explains how Obama's destroying our Country and where we are gonna be if he gets re-elected. It's explained well enough so that liberals can even understand it....

Yep, nothing like insulting people to make them want to vote for your guy. I certainly agree with some of Romneys policies but that was before he changed his mind ;). All economic indicators show that the economy is picking up. Let's not screw this up by going back to the old failed policies. http://www.businessinsider.com/consumer-comeback-2012-10

Well, I support Romney and I live in Maryland.. However, any Obama supporter want to trade votes in PA for a vote in MD? I'll vote for BHO here in MD if you vote for Romney in PA! Altenatively, we could both vote "present" or play another round of golf, and miss another security brief.
BHO had his chance and flubbed it - our grandchildren our now paying our debt! We can feel better that we voted for BHO but now let's vote on merit! Cheers.

Sounds like some real intelligence happening here. Let's go back to the same policies that got us into the mess in the first place. NOT! Yes, things were bad. However, Obama created more jobs in one year than Bush did in 4 years. That has been without the help of the idiot tea party republicans who put their political agenda in front of the American people by voting against Obama's job plan to rebuild the infrastructure of our country. Something that is a win win idea. Given that...even if I though Obama was horrible, I have no respect for spineless Mitt Romney. He changes his views DAILY and will say anything to get elected. He is a slimey used car sales man. Just trust me "I know how to do this, I've done it before". His plans does not add up. I am not interested in losing Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, College Pell Grants, College Deductions, Mortgage Deductions and so on so Romney can give tax cuts to the top 1%. George Bush gave tax cuts to the top 1%...remember, they are the "job creators" REALLY! What happened to all the jobs they were suppose to create and look at the mess it got us into. How dare you blame that on Obama. It was the Republicans that got us into this mess.

What a minute here - "Policies that got us in this mess in the first place"? What you liberals are forgetting is that the senate and house were ruled by democrats, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi for the last 2 yrs of Bush's term. Bush was not able to pass anything. This is exactly when the economy went to pot.
What jobs did Obama create? He may have increased the number of workers working for the government and paid with our tax dollars; but any job in the private sector was NOT created by him. Besides, the Bush tax cuts remained in effect while all of these so-called jobs you're talking about came about. Lower taxes provide an environment for more hiring. You can't give Obama credit for one of those jobs. His policies do nothing to help employers hire more workers.
And you think that Obama does not change his views. He says whatever his audience wants to here. "Because of my christian religion, I can not support gay marriage", and a year later (election year) he says "Because of my religion, I have to support gay marriage".

Why would you ever vote for someone who thinks that you can stop a beating heart and call the unborn a choice? Yet...I will get a ticket if I srive without wearing my seatbelt? Where is my choice? How does my not wearing my seatbelt hurt anyone else...yet that is our law...to protect. I think the seatbelt law is fine, I am just making the point that our laws help youth decide right from wrong. If abortion is legal than it is OK to kill the unborn. It doesn't matter how many thousands of families would be willing to give the child a home...lets just kill it so that the poor "mother" will not have to go through all the hard work of caring for the child inside her for 9 months. Guess what? It is that same "mother" who will self medicate to try and forget what she did and will eventually have more psychological problems than they can handle. That is their choice Pres Obama.....a life of guilt and shame or a life of joy that they made the hard but righteous choice and spared the life of the child that was depending on them. I am SO eternally thankful to the mother of my child who could have legally killed her unborn...yet the mother was a real mother and gave the child life regardless of how hard the 9 months were for her. Our familiy will forever be greatful for that womans unselfish act of kindness. Thankyou. Vote for PROLIFE. If they cannot protect the unborn littlest American...they cannot protect the BORN Americans. Their view on the sanctity of LIFE MATTERS!!

Romney changes political positions hourly. If he looses its because in the end the primary dominated by radicals of the right have dampened his appeal. I now believe we are better off with another Obama term.
