Welcome back, Patch Blogger!

Get the Word Out for Free on Emmaus Patch

Become an Emmaus Patch power user and take advantage of a variety of free tools that will enable you to sharing your thoughts, ideas, photos, announcements and information with your friends and neighbors--directly.

If you're reading this, you're probably already familiar with Emmaus Patch. Emmaus Patch is almost two years old and has developed a large and loyal following in that time! Thank you!

I want you to know that your continued support is appreciated, and I hope that you will want to get involved in the Patch online community by sharing your thoughts, ideas, photos, announcements and information with your friends and neighbors--directly.

In addition to commenting on stories, did you know what Patch offers you lots of ways to do that?

Here’s just one of the ways you can (and I hope will) become a Patch "power-user."

Post an event on the calendar! Do you have a yard sale planned? Are you a member of a group that holds regular meetings? Are you a member of a church that's planning an event? Are you a business owner who's planning an open house? Are you involved with planning a fundraiser somewhere nearby? Are you a member of a local volunteer fire company that holds drill nights/fundraisers? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, please consider using Patch as a way to reach other Emmaus and Upper Milford residents. With Patch, YOU are empowered to post things BY YOURSELF. That's right! There's no middleman and you don't even need to contact the editor (although I’m always available to answer questions and help you if you get stuck).

All you need is a Patch account (and if you don't already have one, click "Sign Up" in the upper right hand corner of the page). When you're logged in, you're ready to go. You can access the blank NEW EVENT form here. You can even bookmark it, to save time the next time you have something to post!

When you've filled in the required (*) fields in the blank form, be sure to click "Post My Event" at the very bottom of the page. Then you're done! You can also upload photos or PDFs of flyers to your listing.

Then, if you're so inclined, send me an email at jennifer.marangos@patch.com to let me know that you've posted something on the site. If appropriate, I’ll consider sharing it with other local Patch sites and even featuring it on the Emmaus Patch homepage!
