Harriet J. Buss, 82, of Emmaus, died June 1, 2012 in Liberty Nursing and Rehab Allentown.
Harriet J. Buss, 82, of Emmaus, died June 1, 2012 in Liberty Nursing and Rehab Allentown. She was the widow of Carl A. Buss. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Emma (DeEsch) Zepp. She was a registered nurse for 50 years. Along with her late husband, she co-owned Buss Paint and Wallpaper, Emmaus for 23 years, retiring in 1978. She was an active member of St. John’s U.C.C., Emmaus. She was a member of the Emmaus Historical Society and the Se-Wy-Co Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors: Daughters, Rebecca L. wife of Stephen Martin of Bethlehem and Jean M. wife of Dr. Okio Hino of Tokyo, Japan; Grandchildren, Mami Watanabe, Ari Hishino, Josephine M. Hino, Stephanie O. Hino and Jesse O. Hino. She was predeceased by her brother, Glenn J. Zepp on May 31, 2012.
Services: Combined Memorial Services for Harriet and Glenn will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at 11 a.m. in St. John’s U.C.C., 139 N. 4th St., Emmaus. Friends may call 10 to 11 a.m. in the church. Interment will follow in Northwood Cemetery. Schantz Funeral Home P.C. is in charge of the arrangements.
