Five Things to Know Today: March 11

Bank robbery suspects will head to trial.

1.  Weather: Heavy rain in the early morning, according to the National Weather Service, then mostly cloddy with a high in the mid-50s. The wind will be from the southwest at 3 mph to 9 mph. Sunrise is at 6:20 and sunset at 6:04, which gives us about 2 minutes and 41 seconds more daylight than yesterday.

2.  KNBT Robbery Update: The final suspect in the KNBT Bank Robbery was in court for 2.5 hours yesterday for his preliminary hearing. The judge ruled that Isaah J. Sampson will face trial on all eight charges against him. The two other suspects, Hishamu T. Curry and Edward Anthony Maye, previously waived identical charges and will similarly head to trial.

3.  In Case you Missed It: The 2010 Census data was released yesterday and Emmaus shrunk by 1 percent and Upper Milford grew by 5.85 percent.
