Emmaus Borough Council made the following appointments at its July 16 meeting:

• Peter Gasper was appointed to the Parks and Recreation Commission.
• Terri Gasper was appointed to the Special Entertainment Commission.
• Paulette Labenberg was appointed to the Special Entertainment Commission.
• Tyler Silfies was hired as a Summer Parks Program counselor.
• Colin Farrel was hired as a Summer Parks Program counselor.
• Derek Marino was named a new member of the Emmaus Fire Department.
• Gabriel McNabb was appointed a fire department driver for trucks 711 and 712.
• Kurtis Knauss was appointed a driver for fire department truck 751.

Council also accepted the following resignations at the July 16 meeting:

• Lilith Uhler resigned from the Special Entertainment Commission.
• Frederick Bainhauer III resigned from the Auxiliary Police.
