Name: Laura Erle

Grade: Junior at Emmaus High School

Accomplishment: Laura has been selected by Penn State University as a finalist in the 2011-2012 Penn State Essay Contest for High School Students. She is one of 20 students chosen to receive this honor from participating school districts throughout the state.

Key to Awesomeness: Each year Penn State holds the writing contest to recognize student achievement in writing. 

Laura and her current English teacher, Aaron Gavin, have been invited to attend the awards ceremony at the Nittany Lion Inn on April 20, 2012.
