Sometime in the wee hours of the morning of April 7, the Easter Bunny hid a bunch of eggs on the grounds of the Upper Milford Fire Company-Western District.
Children up to age 12 searched the area thoroughly for eggs to fill their baskets. Some were marked with stickers indicating a “prize” egg, for which they collected a chocolate bunny.
Also, in keeping with tradition, the ladies joined in the egg-hunting activities. The bunny hid some eggs in the wooded section of the grounds, having them search in the field and trees. Those lucky enough to find an egg with a letter on it, took home a hyacinth for Easter.
