East Penn School District helped local seniors celebrate Thanksgiving a week early through an annual holiday luncheon on Thursday.

The event, held simultaneously at three schools in the district -- Emmaus High School and Eyer and Lower Macungie middle schools -- typically treats more than 1,000 seniors to a free Thankgiving feast with all the trimmings.
