Does Community Pool's Closing Impact Your Weekend Plans?

The Borough of Emmaus held out hope until the last minute, but on Friday, Borough Manager Shane Pepe announced the Emmaus Community Pool is closed for the season.

 

Emmaus Borough Manager Shane Pepe announced on Friday that the Emmaus Community Pool is officially closed for the summer.

On Thursday, he told Emmaus Patch that he was still hopeful that a part needed to repair a broken pool pump would be delivered in time keep the pool open for Labor Day weekend -- typically the final weekend of the pool season.

The pool has been closed since the pump failed on Aug. 22.
