Celebrate National Reading Month With the Emmaus Library

March is National Reading Month and the Emmaus Public Library has a variety of resources to help spark a love of reading this month.

Believe it or not, Friday is March 1. And, that’s important for a couple of reasons. It means spring is just around the corner. It also marks the start of National Reading Month.

In celebration of National Reading Month, March would be a great time to plan a visit to the Emmaus Public Library and check out the many resources the library has to offer.

Until that happens, take a look at the library’s Web site, which includes a full online catalog of the library’s offerings, a calendar of upcoming library events and a list of the books the Emmaus librarians chose as the most notable books of 2012 in three categories, including non-fiction, fiction and biography.

Whether you are a regular reader who has run out of good ideas about what to read next, or you haven’t read a book since you were forced to by your high school English teacher, March is the perfect time to comb through this comprehensive online list compiled by our local librarians and a great kick off to National Reading Month.
