Car Rolls Three Times in Upper Milford
Three from Zionsville hurt, rescue required, in crash on Kings Highway South, police say.
A momentary distraction Aug. 2 caused a Zionsville woman's car to veer off the road, overturn three times and send three people to the hospital, according to state police at Fogelsville.
One of the occupants had to be extricated from the 2001 Nissan Sentra by rescuers from Upper Milford Fire Department Western District, police said.
Macy Rogers, 20, was the most seriously injured, receiving moderate injuries, police said. Driver Amber A. Rogers, 18, and Bradley J. Rogers, 20, received minor injuries.
Amber Rogers was northbound on Kings Highway South in Upper Milford about 6:40 p.m. when she looked down for a moment, police said. That caused her to go onto the right shoulder. When she attempted to correct her steering, Rogers struck an embankment and the car went off the road and rolled three times.
The victims were transported to Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest by Emmaus Ambulance, police said.
Amber Rogers was charged with failure to maintain her lane of travel, police said.
