'Hands-Only CPR' to be Taught at Lehigh Valley Mall Event
WHO: Lehigh Valley Mall is hosting a health awareness event with the Eastern Pennsylvania Emergency Medical Services Council.
WHAT: Lehigh Valley Mall continues its month long Paint the Mall Red initiative in support of heart disease awareness month. The Eastern Pennsylvania Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Council in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Bureau of EMS, HeartRescue Project of Pennsylvania, the American Heart Association and Cetronia Ambulance Corps will be educating the general public on a new campaign called ‘Lend a Hand, Save a Life’, a new initiative introducing Hands Only CPR. The public will be educated on sudden cardiac arrest and will learn how to save a person’s life in three easy steps. This event, being held in the Mall Events Court, is free and open to the public and the media is encouraged to attend.
