Members of the Friends of the Emmaus Public Library are invited to attend the annual meeting of the organization at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 4th in the Margaret Knoll Gardner Room of the library.  The Emmaus Public Library is located at 11 East Main Street, Emmaus.

The Friends organization was founded in 1998 to provide programming and financial support of the Emmaus Public Library.  Over the years, the group's financial contributions have become increasingly important to the health of this community institution.  Since 1998, the Friends have contributed more than $445,000 to the library.  A slate of officers will be elected and the group will vote upon making its annual gift.  The suggested contribution is $16,000.

In nomination are: President - Julia Brooks; Vice President - Seth Flanders; Secretary - Carol Brokate; Treasurer - William Weber.

Light refreshments will be served following the meeting.
