PEEPS^® Brand Marshmallow Candies, announces its Second Annual “Deck The PEEPS^®” Holiday Art Contest.  The PEEPS^® team is looking for artistic creations that range from sculpture and wall art to crafts and art for consumption!  The First Place prize has a value of over $500.  For all rules and terms visit http://www.marshmallowpeeps.com/deck-the-peeps where there will also be a gallery of PEEPS^® entries.

Mark Hoffman, Senior Brand Manager of Seasonal Products at Just Born, commented, “Our PEEPS^® fans are very creative and extremely devoted to our brand.  Christmas has become a significant PEEPS^® season with fans enjoying the taste of PEEPS^® as well as their many uses in recipes, crafts and artwork.  Our  ‘Deck the PEEPS^®’ contest provides a perfect platform for fans to display their incredible holiday artistry through a PEEPS^® masterpiece that can be shared with all and possibly result in a great prize.” 

Submissions:  Entries to the “Deck The PEEPS^®” contest must be photographed and uploaded in jpeg, jpg or gif file format, preferably no larger than 365 pixels x 365 pixels.  Digital photographs should be taken at highest resolution possible, but not to exceed 150 KB in file size.  More than one project per contestant may be submitted but only one image per entry.

Content:  Entries may include houses/structures, wall art, crafts, art for consumption and apparel, just to name some!  Get creative and have fun!  While projects may range in size they must be clearly captured in one submitted image.  Entries must utilize at least two kinds of PEEPS^® and these do not have to be holiday PEEPS^®.

Contest End Date: The “Deck The PEEPS^®” contest will accept entries until January 7, 2013 at 11:59 pm.  The winners will be announced on January 30, 2013.

Age Categories:  There will be two age categories:  Under 18 and 18 & over.

Prizes:

• First Prize - $500 Amex Card & $50 in PEEPS^® candy.
• Second Prize - $250 Gift Card to PEEPS & COMPANY^® and a $50 PEEPS^® Prize Pack.
• Third Place - $100 in PEEPS^® candy.
